I have not seen it, but the reviews have been awful - so if you are on the fence, maybe wait until its a rental!

I have the book and have not read it yet. I saw the movie the other night with my sister and I loved it! It was funny & I thought the casting was better than I expected. I decided to see the movie before I read the book because when I did the opposite for The Devil Wears Prada, I was upset with the movie-even though I liked it.

If you are on the fence, it will be on DVD in no time and you can always do it as a rental like Lisa suggested.

I read the book the other year an loved it. I was curious about the movie. I knew it came out, but I've heard very litle about it.

With The Devil Wears Prada, I had read the book and loved that one and I really liked the movie too. Usually I hate the movie if I've read the book.

I read the book awhile back & it was a really fun read....the pre-views for the movie don't look that great. I too am tempted to see it (I will most likely wait for DVD) . In general aren't the movies never as good as the books?

I read this book and absolutley loved it. I have yet to see the movie. and not sure if i will pay the money to see it in the theatre cause normally i am disappointed in the movies that come from books. The only movie that i know of that has been better then the book would be the christmas story which was based on the book In God We Trust.. all others pay cash. The movie is 100% better then the book

The Nanny Diaries is one of my very favorite books, and I can honestly say I hated the movie.  It was so boring.  It was like whomever wrote the script was trying too hard to cram everything in.

I really didn't like the movie.  I read the book awhile ago and went to see the movie becuase i liked the actress.  But it was hard to sit threw.  I thought it was to long and drawn out.  I woudln't recommend it.

I didn't like the movie either. It was ok. But not really like the book. The book was a heck of a lot better
