I was rather disappointed with this book. I had hoped the stories in it would stick closer to the fairy tales they were "based" on, but the vast majority only paid homage with a play on the title or character names. Oh well. It was still pretty funny. I'm afraid I didn't find it terribly exciting though.
When I first started to read this book, I was a bit disappointed; I had expected it to follow the fairy tales a bit more closely. I had to put it aside for awhile because, yes, I do have a life, & had to do other things. When I picked it up again & started reading the book, for some reason, I really enjoyed the stories. Some of the stories are very short, just a page or two, & some are much longer. I found that I really enjoyed the offbeat versions & perspectives. You have to read this with an open mind & a willingness to accept the kinky version - & only then will you have fun. Enjoy.
