Okay, so can anyone suggest any authors with a Kresley Cole type style of writing.  I mean, I have a lot of great books and authors, but I am just obsessed with her stuff.  LOL

I just read a G. Showalter Lords of the Underworld book and liked it, I'm in the process of reading Lara Adrian and so far, I think I'm really going to like her writing, but no one compares to Cole for me.  Suggestions?

I just started Showalter's Atlantis series and loved it!  The first book is Heart of the Dragon.  Definitely worth reading.

I thought the Sisters of the Sun series was very good and similar to Cole's books. The first book in the series is  The Sun Witch (Sisters of the Sun, Bk 1)  by  Linda Winstead Jones. That is a 3 book series and then she wrote another series about the children of the witches, but I haven't gotten those yet.

Maybe the Warriors of Poseidon series? That one starts with Atlantis Rising (Warriors of Poseidon, Bk 1)  by Alyssa Day. The one annoying thing about that series is book #2 and #4 are in anthologies and the author is way behind, she's been ill and I think she's a little  flaky :).

Both of those are great series.

Have you read any of JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series.  It's awesome.

Okay, well I have Heart of a Dragon and also book 2 of LOU by Showalter, very happy to know it was good.  Also, I have one of the Poesidan books and the first 2 of the BDB.  WHERE TO BEGINNNNN....LOL   Is Ward similar to Cole?   I'm definitely going to check out Jones, especially if you say she's similar.

Thanks.

I think that if you like Kresley Cole, then you should check out Nalini Singh's Psy-Changling series. To me both of those authors add a depth of feeling and action that to their stories that is hard to compare, too. Plus the heroes are hot! :-) I also agree with everyone who suggested Lara Adrian & J.R. Ward.

I have never read Cole's books, I have them however. But Linds Winstead Jones series is GREAT! There is actually three sets, the sisters of the sun, the children of the sun and now the Emporer's brides. I think two of them have been released so far. Or maybe only one so far, but all of her books in this Genre are Great I have read 8, and I am waiting on the last EB book to review.
