The books in this series have been written by a native or someone that has lived in the country that each book covers. They are all enjoyable to read. They can be used to start a discussion about the topics covered. I recommend them for home-schoolers or anyone interested in different cultures.

It says for young adults--but this is also an adult read if you like books about culture, this is a wonderful, interesting series about different cultures. Well written and even for an adult a great series to get into. Not really written on kid level. each book is written by someone who has lived in the land and so the info is right on, not fiction info.
