I ordered The Nerd Who Loved Me, and I know this series is really popular. I just figured out this isn't the first book in the series. Has anyone read them all? Do I need to go in order?

As far as I know, they are completely stand alone books and you don't have to do them in order. You can also usually find them on deals in the BB. I didn't care for the series and was SO disappointed. It's basically a Harlequin. You have the same format each time: gorgeous, skinny, sexxxed up woman and "nerdy" man. And by nerdy it's basically a guy with a banging body, thick hair, tall, gorgeous face who "oh my" wears thick glasses or maybe has a cowlick. Oh, and he works in computers. This movie-star-looks quality guy thinks he could "never get the supermodel" and... I'm not ruining anything for you here... he does. They have bodice-ripper quality sex, guy thinks he will lose girl, girl realizes that "oh my god, I just love my nerd" and ... happily ever after. There's usually some "wacky" mystery to solve via computer technology (I read one where they were on a nerd cruise and someone was killing people on it).

I don't mean to bust your nerd bubble. I was excited b/c I consider myself a nerd and thought wow, a whole series about it. Nope. It's basically like those teen movies where they take a Playboy centerfold, put her in overalls and taped glasses, and call her ugly. Then magically, the hot guy makes her pretty. Along the way, you can from page one predict they are going to get together. Anyhoo, read the book, see if you like it, then go from there. But the characters are different in each, so you should be fine!

Thanks Heather! I was kinda afraid of that when I saw the book's cover. I won't order the rest until I get through this one.

The Nerd Who Loved Me is one of my faves of the nerd books. they're pretty much cute romance which I  love so they were right up my alley! I read a lot of romance though and liked the cuteness. and yes the guys/gals really aren't all that nerdy..some are but in Nerd Gone Wild - think that's the one in Alaska- he's more of a bodyguard disguised as a  nerd. I don't think any of them are related though - completely different characters.
