So, I won a book from LibraryThing's early reviewers program--Susan Mallery's Chasing Perfect (I really liked this book--if you enjoy her other series, you will like this one, too).  It was in ebook format and they sent me over to netgalley.com.  An interesting site that has pre-released books you can request to read and review.  You are required to create a profile for yourself and the publisher approves/denies your request for a book.  I got the first one and requested another (Robyn Carr's A Summer in Sonoma) and it was approved.  I review all the books I read on goodreads, have a blog, and review for Amazon, too...not sure if that makes any difference.

Anyone else try this out?

I just signed up.  I'm a Librarian at Goodreads.  I've already been approved for one book.  Looks like a great site!

Which one did you pick?  They look like they have a lot of great books...Harlequin has lots plus there seem to be lots of Christian romances...

I got Angel Train by Gilbert Morris and I just received this morning  Into the Dark by Gena Showalter, Out of Eden by Beth Ciotta and The Darkest Passion by Gena Showalter!   I found quite a few Christian romances that I want to read too.  Thanks for the heads up!

They currently only have a handful of books I'd be interested in reading, so I don't know yet, if I'll attempt to sign up or not.

I do have a question though, and I feel like I know the answer, but I'm not sure so I figure asking can't hurt!

In the sign up form, what do they mean by Company Name?

I didn't put anything in company name (it has a - in the field on my profile).

It appears to be a fairly new thing.  Harlequin only signed on with them fairly recently, but they seem to have quite a few books available.    Also, lots of Christian romances.  I like both of those, so it has been fun for me so far.  I've requested 5 books (make that 6--I just was looking at the catalog and saw another one in a series I have been reading) and am enjoying reading through them.  I love free books! :)   I'm hoping that they get more publishers to sign on and have a larger selection.
