**Edited by PaperBackSwap Team** We remind our members that posts offering or looking for deals on books must be posted only in the Book Bazaar Discussion Forum OR in the stickied-red "Deals/Offers/Bookshelf Promotions" topic at the top of this genre forum:

I dont know why they took this down , because we have pretty much always had a  monthly " Is this on your book shelf"    just like a ,Is this on your WL?

If they looked back they would see more often then not we've  had this ?   Not to  mention everybody offering deals here( and I no thats not allowed)

Hasent this always been a recurring thread?

It's okay to have an "is this on your shelf" post, but when someone is looking for a "deal", like the above poster who wants a 2 for 1 on the books she's looking for, that's what is not okay.

My post  above was " Feb , is this on your shelf and PBS edited it.   I thought we were allowed to have it.   And that is what I tried to show by bumping the others up.

Yes, but we aren't allowed to ask for deals.  You can only ask for a deal in the Book Bazaar.  It is okay to ask if someone has multiple books in this thread, but you cannot ask them to offer you a deal on those books.

I don't really understand either, Lisa!?! These types of threads have been started nearly every month since I became a member & every single one that I could find is of members asking for deals of certain romance books from fellow romance readers & forum friends ... (link to some of the past months "is this on your bookshelf threads).

If I remeber correctly they were started monthly to put a stop to multiple threads in the l&r forum of members looking for deals, but causing clutter.

Can anyone post a link to the new info of deals only being allowed in the book bazaar, please? I know there's the red sticky thread, but it looks to be more for members offering deals on their shelves, not looking for.
