Good review by a medical technical writer. He has personal experience with subject matter and SUCCESS with same. Embraces traditional medicine as well as some alternative methodology - all with amazing positive results!

This book does have some helpful information on effective ways to lower your cholesterol. I would recommend this book, as a keeper cause you will want to refer to it time and again. It does have some unique recipes in the back, but doesnt have an 8 week food plan, in case that is what you are looking for.

Of course it says exercise, lose weight, eat fruits and vegs, nuts, whole grains, and 2 servings of fish a week, take certain vitamins like E, C Bs, and niacin. There is even a chapter on how to control high blood pressure.

Now just cause I told you what he said doesnt mean you can now skip this book. You need to hear what he has to say. He is not against statins or other medications, but I like that he has explored other options too.

This book is very easy to read and explains the reason behind everything. He also says you need to try what works for you, but also tells you what he does. That gives you a starting point as to what to try and then you go from there. Of course, always working with your doctor on getting the bloodwork done on a regular basis, so you can see if you are making progress or damaging your liver. I haven't finished the book and haven't gotten on the diet or supplements yet, so will have to repost when I get my results.
