I've been reading romance and erotica for some time and have tried a splash of this new genre. The first I read was Beautiful Disaster Author: Jamie McGuire and it was good. Does anyone have any recommendations? I know the rest of the romance/erotica/paranormal authors like the back of my hand but this is new to me.

What's the focus of this genre? Is it for the youngish crowd?

I call it smutty romances for young people. I'm guessing it was a response to 50 Shades' popularity. I haven't completely decided if I like it so I thought I'd get some recs. For me, clean romances close the bedroom door, hot ones keep the door open, erotica keeps the camera near by and porn gets really up close. I feel like these authors open the door, linger a bit and move on. But someone should correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok here are some of my favorite NA's:

Colleen Hoover - Hopeless, Slammed and Point of Retreat

Jamie McGuire - Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster

Jessica Sorensen - The Secret of Ella and Micha and The Forever of Ella and Micha, The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden

J.A. Redmerski - The Edge of Never

A. Meredith Walters - Find You in the Dark and Light in the Shadows

J Sterling - The Perfect Game

J Lynn - Wait for You

SC Stephens - Thoughtless, Effortless, Reckless

Abbi Glines - The Vincent Boys and The Vincent Brothers

Tamara Webber - Easy

Molly McAdams - Taking Chances, Stealing Harper (MUST READ TAKING CHANCES FIRST!!!)

Nyrae Dawn - Charade and Façade

Sawyer Bennett - Off Sides, Off Limits, Off the Record

Lacey Weatherford - Losing Nikki and Finding Chase

Nicole Reed - Ruining Me and Ruining You

I obviously love the NA genre. My only pet peeve is the freakin' cliff hangers. It's SO hard to come across some that are stand alones. Most of them turn into series and have crazy cliff hangers. Drives me insane!

Missy , thats a great list.  I have some on my TBR , WL  and I'll check out some of the others.  I have been so into this genre lately that I was thinking about asking for suggestions myself.

There are a lot of para ones too, along with sci-fi and fantasy. If you go to Amazon and type in new adult paranormal it will give you a long list of books and authors. If you read ebooks, there are a bunch of free ones in this category.
