I have started my own blog for creative ideas and one day for writers to join in and communicate. Please come check it out, I lack motivation to write on it a lot because nobody follows it or leaves a comment.

Thanks.

Hi Jacki. While it is true that blogging has sadly been replaced by the more condensed and mind-numbing "Status Updates" (or Tweets) that are found on Facebook and Twitter, there are still ways to obtain a subscribership. If you have a Facebook account, you can register with an app known as Network Blogs. it allows you to invite everyone on your Facebook friends list to subscribe to your blog...and each blog entry will automatically post (or manually post. It's up to you) to your friend's newsfeed.

I think Network Blogs might be the last thing that can save blogging. While more established writers thumb their nose at blogging, I found it to be an incredible source of inspiration. A blog is a nice place to test out ideas.

One other thing. The lack of followers is not a reflection on you. Although it's a respected site, I notice that the majority of Blogspot blogs lack followers. I'm not sure why that is.

I agree with the view on blogspot. Most people that I know that have large readerships use blogher or wordpress.

Maybe switch?
