Hi,

  I am searching for these readers to use in our homeschool.  We use the Faith and Freedom readers but my boys go through them so fast, I am looking for this series as well.  I searched but couldn't find any here.  I wondered if maybe I am not searching correctly.  Thank you for any help you can give me!

Are you searching for the indidivual titles? The series name would not be the way to find the title. "Fun With Our Friends", "We Come and Go", etc.

Last I knew these are collectible and sought by book collectors who have nothing to do with homeschoolers. They used to sell on eBay to collectors, and Alibiris and other sites that asked a good price for each. This leads me to wonder if people are not giving them away on PBS as they are colletible. Also some that I own are in horrid condition due to years of use in the classroom and would therefore not fit the PBS rules for swapping due to the poor condition.

Sometimes I have found these at library used book sales or I've found the New Cathedral versions at thrift shops and they have stamps inside indicating they were formerly owned by nearby parochial schools.

More than once a local parochial school was giving away used books and textbooks to homeschoolers rather than throwing them in the trash. Perhaps you could call your nearest parochial school and ask if they have any discards or if you can be put on a list to come pick from discards before they hit the trash? Those are usually done at the end of the school year though (June).
