If you are like me you are a regular visitor to Amazon.com.  I just discovered that they offer a service exactly like Paypal except there are NO FEES for the buyer or seller.    I assume this is to encourage people to switch from Paypal.  So if you are buying or selling credits (or send money online for any reason)  you should check it out.

*No I do not work for Amazon; I'm just an a regular customer of theirs.

I have received and withdrawn funds a few times now.  Other than a glitch in the verifying a checking account everything is GREAT!!

If you are using a checking account, look for the instant verification button.  You need to click it (and two subsequent windows) to get Amazon to make the two deposits to your account.  Once I did that the "2 week" process took 24 hours.

I'm a regular Paypal user and have been for years. There is no fee that I've noticed so far. I use Amazon S3 for storage and was amazed to find that they do not accept Paypal. I have to put it on a credit card.

Note, I am a fairly regular buyer from Amazon but will not subscribe to their Prime as I really don't buy that much. I always look for "Qualifies for free shipping" claim when I shop there. A few times I've paid for shipping but not many.

Amazon does not need to make any more money. They can keep their Amazon Payments scheme, I'll stick with Paypal.

Pay Pal can be a nuisance too.  If you place an online order with WOMAN WITHIN and pay with Pay Pal you can't do exchanges without reentering your order all over again!

PS:  Don't forget, if you are going to use Amazon for anything, be sure to access it through the "doorway" here at PBS.  That way PBS will get some credit, and it helps to keep PBS a NO MEMBER FEE website!
