Does anyone else in your house already have an account? Only one person can get the free credits.

Katy, only one person per household is allowed the 2 initial start-up credits after posting 10 books.  If you are the first person at your household to open a PBS account, then the problem might be with your address.  If you live in an apartment, then perhaps someone else in the building is also a member of PBS.  In this case, it's best to contact the Admin. Team and discuss the situation with them.

Go to the bottom of the page, click on "Contact Us" and once there, you will see an area to send in "Feedback".  You will receive a reply by email and not a PM.

A previous occupent of the apartment might have been a member.

What they said.  The problem could be a previous resident in your apartment/building.  Contact PBS admin.

Welcome to PBS Katy!!

The addresses and credits are done by computer. If you contact PBS on the bottom of the page, a real human will look into it. It might well be that a former tenant or another tenant is a member. This can also happen to members who use a PO box service (a non USPS box) or a work address.

People have had problems with apartments and dorm rooms showing as the same IP address as well and the computer thinking it's a duplicate account.

Katy, your bookshelf shows 5 books.  Is it possible that the other 5 didn't post for some reason?

It's no fun to be on PBS without any credits..... I'm gifting you one so that you can start your addiction.  wink  Happy trading!
