Dunno if anyone's already commented about this, but the delivery confirmation truck is now for more than just entertainment and horn honking!  I just noticed that it now visits all the places it's been scanned along the way, and if you click on one of those locations it gives the scan's details.  Neat!  Thanks to TPTB for constantly improving the site for all of us :)

It did that before, but still wandered off into the ocean or other states on its route inbetween check points. I've always seen check points that are registered show on the truck map, but like I said, the driver still took detours and got a little wet or drunk somedays.

Oops, thanks for the info, Sherry - guess I've never checked any DC books after their initial scan until now; I'd only ever seen the truck on a straight line between the origin and destination before.  Ah well, learned something new - and though I guess it's old hat to you folks, for now it's still a fun novelty to me :)

Hmmm...according to that truck, one of my books appears to be visiting my cousin in Idaho!

For me the delivery truck is usually driving backwards!  That seems rather hazardous to me.

Oh, you are so right Kate, the driver of that truck is totally unsafe. I'm sure that many times he's either drunk or high, and I wish he'd let someone else bring me my books!!!!

Last week I had a book coming from Missouri.  Now I live in northern Louisiana close to the Arkansas border.  My book went all the way to the southern part of the state I think to Baton Rouge which is four or five hours south or where I live before it made it's way back up north.  This was a small mass market book so it was shipped first class.  I could understand going this route Media but first class?

Kay, the ways of the Little Mail Truck are mysterious, and not understandable to mere mortals...lol!
