I got an early copy of the 1st book in her new series- Eggs in Purgatory.  i know that some, like me, were really turned off by her main chracter on the scrapbooking series, and others think the tea series is boring... well this is neither.. a very likable widow in her 40's is the main chracter, the shop sounds delightful, and the pace is just quick enough to keep you interested... of course I'm only 1/2 way through, but so far it's one of her best I've read. :)

I couldn' teven remember the woman's name in the scrapbooking but I hated that entire setting...I love the tea shop ones though mainly for reading about the different teas! I skim over the mystery  just to read about the tea!

I think its a matter of preference

I really like the scrapbooking books but have been unable to finish any of the tea ones.  They just don't hold my attention

I'll need to try this new book though

That's good to know. I've never read any of her books before but I have this one on the way in a book order that shipped on the 31st so it should be here in the next couple of days and it's the 2nd book in the box that I plan on reading so I'm glad it sounds worth it :)
