I've been a member since the end of January and only sent out a couple of books.  I really like the site, but find that I've had to pass on some wishlisted items due to lack of points.  :(

I don't have a lot of books on my shelf, but more will be added as I read them - usually weekly.  I have a mix of fantasy, thrillers, and mysteries.  So, please come on by and check out my bookshelf and check back often.

I'd be willing to do a 2 for 1 deal on any of the paperbacks.  I'd also be willing to let all 3 Alias Prequels go at 3 for 1.

If anyone is interested in both The Cat Who books, I have a 3rd book which is unpostable (a black x mark on the top edge of the pages otherwise in fine shape) The Cat Who Turned On and Off.  PM me if you'd like all 3 books.

PM me if interested in the 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 deals.  Thanks!

Welcome to the Bazaar Shelly! I just wanted to point out that a mark on the page edges that does not bleed into the text is perfectly postable.

Thanks for letting me know.  I had been under the impression that if there was writing of any kind the book was unpostable.

It also has a book exchange stamp on the bottom edge of the pages that I hadn't noticed before I posted here.  Is this still acceptable to post?  I don't want to be in violation here if I listed it

Edit:  Nevermind.  Someone's already expressed interest in the book.  Thanks for your help anyway!  And thanks for the welcome too.

Welocme, Shelly

If you chose, you can always buy credits/points, rather than missing out on those wishlisted books.  Though, if you've only been a member here two or three weeks, and you are already receiving wishlist offers, i assume the wishlists are small and/or moving quickly. If you haven't already, "re-wish" for the ones you have passed over - seems like they will come around again quickly.

if you search back in the forums, there are some good threads on ways to build up your bookshelf, credits,

Mistie,

If I'm going to spend money to buy credits then I might as well just buy the wishlisted items new.  I joined because I thought I'd be able to get books just for a couple of points rather than spending money to get them.   The cost of postage would be worth it if I could get the books I want.

Thanks for the info and for the welcome.

Shelly,

Credits can be bought in the book bazaar forum for $2.50-$2.70 each. IMHO, that is much cheaper than buying a wishlist book new :-) Stick around, as you post more books, your credits will eventually build up - sometimes it's just  a little difficult at first.

I still don't feel it's worth it to buy credits.  I'll just have to be patient and wait it out.  Thanks for the advice.  I appreciate it.
