Maybe.... I have been browsing the local adoption sites (back up ...read that again... Pet adoption sites... PET!) lately, thinking Priss needed a sister or brother. Well, I found one and she's a definate possibility. I filled out the adoption papers... 3 pages worth! and now just waiting to see what happens. I received an email today that said they are calling my veternarian and references I posted. They call her Beyonce, but (roll eyes here) I just can't do that. "Baybee" or "BB" is a female Pomeranian, 2 years old. Black. She's been spayed, all shots up to date, and house trained.. etc.

See her here:

Prayers for us please!

Oh congratulations! I've always loved Pomeranian's. My aunt and uncle had one when I was growing named Popper, and their camp was next door to my grandparents. Popper used to terrorize us kids when we'd run back and forth in the yard, but I never remember him biting anyone! I think he was just trying to show us who was boss! He was so beautiful and I always wanted one, but I know they can be not great with kids.

I'm sure you'll have fun with him!

There has been much juggling of schedules for both of us, but I'm supposed to meet with the Rescue Team tomorrow... Saturday. If all goes well at the *Meet-and-Greet*, I'll bring Baybee or BB, (I just haven't decided which name yet) home with me tomorrow.

I'm anxious. Have been spending extra time with Priss today... getting her all groomed and well brushed out so I won't have to deal with that for a couple of days maybe.

I've introduced a 'new' dog to my household - among other dogs - before, so not sure why I feel so anxious about this one.  I've had as many as 6 before. Two should be no different...

Maybe its the holidays. I'm going out of town soon. Visiting the parents for Thanksgiving. So, the new dog will be introduced to quite a few new people right off the bat! I'm already feeling anxious for her.  We'll be fine. Me, Priss and BB... just us girls!

Baybee or "BB" came home with me and Priss on Saturday, then on Sunday we went out of town for Thanksgiving. Baybee was introduced to the extended family pretty quick! But, she seems to be taking it all in stride. She's very easy going, and happy to meet anyone. She has a great personality! So sweet. She's so totally shiney black, I have to tell her to smile so I can see her in the dark.  She and Priss still have adjustments to work out, but they're doing nicely so far.  I'm hoping too that Baybee can teach Priss a few things. Baybee is so smart too. My bed sits up pretty high. Much higher than any little dog would be able to jump up on, so I made some steps to make it easier. I showed Baybee one time how to get on the bed. Now she's zooming up and down the steps.   I didn't even have to teach her the doggie-door. She picked that up on the first day from Priss.  Priss learned the doggie-door pretty fast too, but she still can't grasp the concept of the bed steps. I'm hoping that eventually she'll pick that up from Baybee.  I''ll post new pic of Baybee as soon as I can get some....
