Have you gotten the new Third Day CD that came out a little over a week ago called "Revelation"?  They really get rootsy with this one and really bring out the southern rock on this disc.  So, expect some rockers and some almost country music (in true southern rock fashion).  They used producer Howard Benson who really worked to bring the best out of the guys, and I think he did it.

They have Chris Daughtry and Lacey Mosely (Flyleaf) doing guest vocals on two songs.  Lacey is typically a hard rock screamer, but she stays very melodic on this.  Her voice blends with Mac Powell's so well on their 2 duets.

Also, check out John Waller.  If you like Casting Crowns, the style is very similar.  On John's debut CD, Mark Hall from Casting Crowns does a duet with him.  One of his songs will be in the upcoming movie "Fireproof".  This movie is produced by the same people who brought us "Facing The Giants".

I love Mercy Me. I have not gotten Third Day's new cd yet. I definitely will, though. :)

I really like Phil Wickham too.  His CD is on my list of CD's to get.

They have Chris Daughtry and Lacey Mosely (Flyleaf) doing guest vocals on two songs.

I'm definitely going to have to check that CD out.  I love Chris Daughtry.

Michelle, if you need more recommendations, then get MY CD.  No, I'm not famous--just some unheard of musician who writes and records his own songs.  You can hear my stuff at:  www.myspace.com/missionofone

If you like what you hear, PM me and I'll send you a free CD.
