I think I saw this mentioned here before - but don't remember the outcome.....

When I check the club wish list - there are 10 wishers, but I turned down the first two requests due to conditions, and now I have the same first one back again? How does that happen?

Update: The first requestor pm'd me wanting to know why the transaction was cancelled - so they don't get the note I typed when I turned the conditions down? I'm so confused ;0

Per the HC:

If you click you will have a chance to type an explanatory message to the requestor

  • this message will be included in an email from PBS telling her that the request has been declined.
  • This message is not for "negotiation" about the book request.

The same thing just happened to me!  There are like 41 wishers for my book and I keep getting the same request back.  They are requesting no folded pages...it's hard to promise that.

I did type in the explanation, and turned down the request. The requestor then pm'd me to see why the transaction was "canceled". She evidently did NOT receive the explanation I provided.

And now, she is back at the top of the line .

She may not have read the explanation...it is usually buried in the email and if you don't read it closely, you may not see it.  Regarding your issue, this is a glitch that needs to be addressed.  To do so, contact R&R using the "contact us" link at the bottom of the screen.
