I am VERY new here, just joined yesterday, but I am already completely addicted!! I stayed up ALL night going through the help topics and the discussion boards ( I feel like I know so many of you already) I have gotten a very good feel for how the site works through your kind answers to others questions. I have one question that I have not seen yet (not that it's not out there somewhere). I often don't have ink for my printer. It seems as soon as I get new cartridges DH and the teenage monster find 2000 things they HAVE to print and use up the ink. Is there a way to save the wrapper to a flashdrive (or something) so that I can take it to campus w/me to print later, or should I just wait until I get to campus and try to access the site to print it then?  Some of the computer labs will not access certain sites (including my email site and bank!) so if I could save to a drive it would be less hassle.

Thanks in advance for any info and advice.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone (and getting my hands on some of your books! LOL)

I don't have an answer to that, just wanted to let you know I sympathize about the ink thing!  Ink and tape- who knew they would become so valuable?!!

When you print the label to maii, it comes up as a PDF file, so if you save it to disk instead of just opening it, you'll be able to have the label on whatever drive you wish.

I learned this the hard way when I kept winding up with all these extra PDF files in my download folder and didn't realize I was saving them to disk when I wanted to print!

Also, when you open up the pdf file, you can just handwrite the address along with a note to tell who you are and stuff. I had to do that once when I ran out of ink :)

Welcome to the site :D
