I have a book that does not have a dust jacket and is in good condition other that a whitish spot on the front cover. Looks like a splashed drop of water maybe 1/4 - 1/2 inch in diameter. No change in the integrity of the cover.  Book is fine otherwise.

Does this make it unpostable? From what I've been reading on here, it does. Anyone care to clarify for me?.

                                                                                                                       Thanks

I would say yes it makes it unpostable. as a water spot IS water having caused damage. If the cover has changed in anyway due to it coming in contact with water, then its been damaged.   Sorry but thats how I see things. I've not posted books because of that issue in the past.

Thanks for the input.

I thought not, but wanted to be sure. Seems such a small thing when other things are allowed, but I have plenty of books to post!    :)
