The Dark Hunter series is my favorite paranormal series and this is one of my favorite Dark Hunter books. I love Talon! And Sunshine is one of my favorite heroines. Of course, I also love Ash and there are some GREAT scenes involving him. Good storyline, great smut (you gotta love Talon hanging upside down from his exercise bar), great insights into Ash and his history. This is one that I keep by my bedside and read parts over again often! Enjoy!

This book took me forever, I mean FOREVER to read. I actually feel bad for Talon. Why, you ask? He had to follow up Kyrian's story, which totally rocked. This book fell flat for me and I really didn't want it to. I didn't feel the romance was the main focus of the story, and even though I loved the fact that Talon and Sunshine had a great connection, I did not get that dreamy, Ahh, after finishing it. I immediately put it on PBS for a book credit. Don't get me wrong, I love the Dark Hunter series, and this book makes Archeron even more of a mystery, building up his book, which is still oodles away. I am slowly making my way there. I have Dance with the Devil, Zarek's story from the library in my possession. Can anyone tell me if it's better than Talon's story? If you read Night Embrace book, let me know what your thoughts were!

This is my favourite so far! I accidentally read them out of order with Fantasy Lover, then Kiss of the Night (number 5) then Night Pleasures and Night Embrace and this is by far my favourite. I'm not too fond of Sunshine, but Talon... mmm mmm! This is a great series altogether but this installment by far gets 5 stars!

They just keep getting better! This is Talon's story. I really like him and feel his pain through the entire book. Sunshine is ok--a little spacey--but not too bad. Its Mardi-Gras and Acheron has to call in reinforcements to handle the extra daimons that will be out during the festival. He sends for Zarek,the psycho, who has been basically banished to Alaska for hundreds of years. Zarek comes off as a bad ass you don't want to mess with, but I liked him. There were moments when you could tell he was wanted to reach out to people, but when he was rejected he just covered it up with rage. We also meet Vane, a were-hunter. Acheron has a very big role in this book, and we learn a bit about his past, he has an evil twin--Styxx, his relationship with Artemis, and more. I was happy to see they each get their own stories later on

I loved this book. Sherrilyn Kenyon is a writer that grabs your attention right away, and keeps it all the way through the book. The book in turn made me laugh, cry and gasp with surprise. I would recommend it to everyone. It has something for everyone.

Easy read and kept my attention. I really love the were-wolves most of all!
