I got this vegetable only cookbook because I am trying to eat healthily. She uses alot of heavy cream, light cream, slabs of bacon, bacon slices, bacon fat, cheese sauces, butter, etc.
For example, the recipe for cabbage soup calls for 2 pounds of cabbage, a couple of pounds of potatoes and a one pound slab of bacon. The recipes sound tasty and delicious but are not low fat /low calorie.
Just wanted you to know what to expect if you order this book.
