Book cover blurb says: Nobody scar3e a porcupine 'cause a porcupine can curl up in a scary sort of ball! Little Porcupine is surprised to discover how easy it is to scare his animal friends. In the end it is Tiny Mouse who figures out that everybody is scared of something. Tiny Mouse also tells them what being brave is all about.

I say: Pub. 1969 - an oldie but a goodie. The message is as relevant today as when first written. The story is fun and intriguing. Good for reading out loud. The pencil drawings, in shades of blue, yellow, white and black, embellish every page and help the eye understand the story.
