I got my nook replacement.  I am tickled purple (not pink, I hate pink!).  They lady that finally took care of it for me was so nice.  She insisted that I keep the battery that they initially sent instead of replacing the malfunctioning unit, and gave me an extra wee gift of $10 gift card to buy a book.  I told her that was not necessary, as I just wanted a unit that works, but she insisted.  This is me.

congrats , i just got my first ereader last week ( a kindle) , i love the thing.

I know, right!   It's been great to have handy for between classes or appt's., even though it was unpredictable in it's reliability.  Not having it at all was driving me crazy!!
