This was the very first romatic novel that I loved. I have read this book many times. I was thrilled when the movie came out but its just not the same. (It never is, is it?) I love this story and how there is such a struggle for the characters. This is the best Nicholas Sparks book I have ever read.

wonderful book - lots of love involved between the pages - Nicholas Sparks knows how to touch hearts. Make sure you have lots of tissues handy when reading this beautiful heartfelt story.

This story definitely was a tear jerker. Such a lovely story of young love that is meant to surpass unlimited lifetimes.

You also appreciate the love letters they write to each other. Before emails and techology, hand written letters are still the ultimate gesture of true love.

I expected this book to be better than it was, especially after all the great reviews it listed on the inside. I was very disappointed. The book needed to have more written of when Noah and Allie were young, while still keeping everything that was already included in the book.

A touching book about a lifetime of love. Even when facing death, the sacred bonds of marriage only get stronger. Quick and easy read, which will leave you feeling hopeful and peaceful as you face the last of your golden years with your spouse.
