That many of our threads have a huge number of views but not that many posts considering how many times they've been "looked at".  There must a lot of people who come on and never post. Just  a late night observation by someone  up way past their bedtime.

I've noticed! sometimes though I go back to read what's been posted but don't have anything new to add. I'm up late too but I'm supposed to be working! :-)

Well, personally i read alot of them but don't always respond because they might be questions about a certain romance genre i don't normally read. I'm not into regency/victorian, scottish hilander, anything European or paranormal, shape shifters or vampires.I have no problems with anyone who reads that stuff, i just prefer Western themed or Americana themed historicals so at times that makes me feel like the odd one out.

Sometimes it's good just to read what others are saying, kind of like being at a party and listening while others talk.

Yep, I read every thread posted but I can't always help or I don't have a comment.

Remember, there are lurkers out there that read and never post.  No harm in that but, hey, come out and join the discussion!

I read alot and respond alot but sometimes it just doesn't pertain to anything I want to read.  I'm not into regency at all, and I don't like erotica or extreme paranormal but I love Scottish Highlanders, Westerns and contemporaries.

After I discovered the Discussion Forums I was an observer for quite a while before I ever posted. Even now there are times when I don't have anything to say but I'm reading the posts.

There are also threads that I'll check often but never post in like Guess the Book or if someone looking for a title. I want to know the answer.

Tanya, have you read any of nancy bartholomew's books? they're not historical but you might like the female characters ' 'your cheatin' heart' is sorta 'country-ish' and none of her women are weaklings! I also liked sophie's last stand though it wasn't country-ish and liked her 'stripper' series set  in florida (again not country but liked the character!)

I used to be here very often...but 'life happens'

.....and together with problems posting since the  change and  having NO interest in Erotica/european/paranormal/alternate reality type books (like tanya is basically an American historical reader I)

I've not found much I want to comment on.

But with that said I still do learn a few new tidbits that  keep me coming  back every so often....

**I'm glad to see my GUESS THE BOOK post took off in such a big way...unfortunately once again I don't participate to often as most of the mystery books are not in my subgenre...

hmm...this is a pretty nice forum! :-) I don't normally read historical but I like to read through the posts though I dont' have a comment usually. the only 'heated' discussion I ever saw in thelove and romance forum was a thread about homesexual erotica/romance and I read it out of curiosity t hough saw no reason to get nasty about it...and even that was very very mild compared to the bashing I've seen in the 'thoughts' forum LOL! that one gets pretty  brutal!

I don't think I've ever seen a thread turn "nasty" on this board.

Quite honestly there area  few members who seem to dominate the Club Thoughts forums that intimidate me,so i try to stay out of their line of fire. I've seen it get pretty mean over there! I like it here better.
