I hope I haven't overlooked this topic for November - I looked, didn't see it and am wondering if we are all hoarding our books until after Secret Santa names are drawn ???

Regardless, I have Nefertiti by Michelle Moran available. The book got significantly better through the 2nd half & I can say, fairly, that overall I enjoyed it and am glad I read it. I still have some problems with it and it's not a real strong recommendation, but for what it is, it's pretty good. And, there are others among us who really enjoyed this - thought it was the best of Moran's three Egyptian books. So, there you have it.

If you're interested, drop me a PM.

Nefertiti
Author: Michelle Moran
ISBN-13: 9780307381743 - ISBN-10: 0307381749

Okay, okay ... I get it! 23 reviews of this post & no takers ... I'm posting Nefertiti to PBS-at-large ... hope you all don't regret your rash decision!

Do any of you ever check out the "multiples" thread in the Book Bazaar?

I was looking at it this morning and saw some good ones offered: The King's Mistress by Emma Campion, These is My Words by Nancy Turner, Sarah's Key, Serena, The Information Officer, and several others. Someone has "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and one of my favorite non-fiction books; "Skeletons on the Zahara", plus this same member has lots of other books listed. (All of the books I listed are on page one) I just saw that The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is actually an audio book, oops!

There's a few from my wishlist, but the problem is finding someone offering more than one book you need. Maybe someone else will have better luck! ;-)

I do check that thread.  I haven't found anything yet (because I can't find anything for the rest of the deal)--same problem you are having.  I have gotten rid of a couple of my WL books that way.

If you see something you want, be sure to check the person's Bookshelf for something else.  Most people on that thread will let you combine a WL book from their list with a book off their Bookshelf.

Hey, quick -- someone should go grab Chadwick's Shadows and Strongholds posted this afternoon in the Multiple WL thread under Book Bazaar. I already have it but I was VERY excited to grab Kearsley's The Winter Sea which has been languishing on my WL for quite some time.  HURRY!!!

Thanks for the tip, Deb!  I asked for it but I don't know if it is still available or not.

ETA:  Got it...and I also ordered The Touch by Colleen McCullough which gives me a book for Australia!

FYI....if anybody is planning to tackle the Outlander series next year, there is someone on the first page of the December Multiple WL thread in the Book Bazaar that has the first three books in the series available. I think her name is Amber.
