I read the first book (novella) in The Rocker Who.. series (The Rocker Who Holds Me). It was okay, good enough that I'll probably eventually read another in the series.

Then I started listening to Lena Dunham's new book. Almost gave up on it because it was pretty boring and very self-centered, but then saw there's a big controversy about something she mentions in the book, so of course I have to keep going. Though I'm glad I borrowed it from the library rather than bought it.

I've had way too many starts and stops. I really need to find something to suck me in.

I did get through Save Riley by Yolanda Olson. Not because it was great but because it was so unbelievably screwed up that I had to see how it played out. surprise

I also read Unwillingly Yours by Marian Tee. It was okay, but very short and I'm not sure if I loved it enough to grab the sequal.

Luckily both of these were freebies at the time I picked them up.

I've just been rereading some books. I think the next new book I'll start will either be RL Matthewson's new Pyte book or Rowdy by Jay Crownover.

Finished RL Matthewson's Tall, Dark and Lethal and it was good, not my fav of the series, but still worth the read. I also read Mastering the Marquess, the bondage was just meh to me but the overall storyline kept me entertained.

I've been reading ebooks too.  Yesterday I read Taking Him by Jackie Ashenden.  I had picked up the sequel, Having Her, while it was 99 cents and it was so good so I had to break down and buy the first one.  Both excellent reads and now I need to read more by this author.  Lots of emotional stuff mixed in with the sexy stuff.

I just picked up the latest NR-Blood Magick-from the library yesterday.  Looking to dive right in.

Also, almost finished with Donna Thorland's "Turncoat".  Someone here recommended her.  Draws me right into the Revolutionary period.  It's going to be really hard waiting for the next two in the series-my library doesn't have them, so opening up my wallet or waiting here on PBS are my options.  Oh-HF not historical romance.

I started and finished the Charm of Magpies trilogy by KJ Charles.  Really loved it.  I hope it continues.

I just picked up the Babysitting the Baumgartner series 2 by Selena Kitt.  Only 99 cents for 3 books.  I'll start that tonight.

And I have Dickon :: Marjorie Bowen waiting for me also.

Oooh, thanks for the tip on the Baumgartner set Ani.  I loved the original and haven't gotten my hands on any of the others.  Can't resist for that price!

I bought it on B&N so it's lendable if anyone else out there's a Nookie and wants to borrow it.

Today I read Naughty Little Secret by Shayla Black.  I really liked it, couldn't put down the ereader until I was done.  I was crossing my fingers that the battery would hold out that long!

Master's Flame was awesome. Not my fave of the series, but still very good.

I was going to hold off on starting something new until Captivated by You came out tomorrow but looks like I jumped the gun on that one...have to wait until next Tuesday.

Dunno what I'm going to start next, then.

Yesterday, I read Two's A Couple, Three's The Law by Eve Langlais.  Loved it!

Today, I've been working on Show Me Baby by Cherise Sinclair since it just lost its 90 day exclusivity to Amazon and I could buy it elsewhere.

I finished Scoring Wilder and then read Keep Me (Twist Me #2) a dark romance. Liked both of them.

Edited to add: Oh, and I started reading His by Aubrey Dark, another dark romance but the H was a little too creepy for me so that was a DNF.

I haven't posted here in a while. Just too darn busy. Here are some recent reads:

Maid for You by Marie Force. I enjoy everything I've read of hers and really liked this one too.

The Sweet Gum Tree by Katherine Allred - loved it! Just excellent work.

You Make Me (Blurred Lines Bk 1) by Erin McCarthy - didn't love it. But the other two look good - willing to give the next one a try.

Currently listening to my first audiobook - Fire Inside by Kristen Ashley. Good so far. I'm still not really loving the voice of the narrator.

I have the Rock Chick audio and I don't care for the narrator either. I wonder if it's the same one?

I just finished Tall, Dark, and Lethal and am wondering if I'll have to wait almost two years for the next one.

Missy, have you read any of her other stuff? I'm wondering if it's just as good.

So, I won a copy of Under Holly's Stockings by Afton Locke.  It's a short story, like 36 pages.  Good read, glad I didn't pay for it though.  At $2.99 it's overpriced for what you get.

Today, I got my hands on Keep Me Safe from Maya Banks (courtesy of the library ebook lending).  Been reading that all day, can't put it down.  Not a keeper but a good story.  I just wish Maya would stop starting series and finish up what she's got going.  There's always a new series or trilogy starting and the last one's barely finished or not even finished.

Finished Anne Stuart's Never Marry the Viscount. It was the ending of the trilogy and it was good, just the entire trilogy could have been much much more that it was. Read two little shorts by Karen Hawkins and at a 1.99 a piece I thought it was a good deal. We are starting a DIY project on our house so I haven't been reading as much as I usually do. but am working on HelenKay Dimon's Your Mouth Drives Me Crazy, NTM author. The book has had some funny moments and at times the heroine really gets on my nerves. I think I have 10 other book started beside my bed right now...I am so bad lately.
