Hi! I noticed that on the "Top Fifty" lists for most posted books and most requested books, it gives the number of available copies for each book. I was wondering whether this information is available for all posted books? In other words, I'd like to know approximately how many copies are in front of the one I just posted :)

Thanks!

If you put a book on your reminder list, you can see how many copies are available in the system.   Then you can take it off, if you like.

You can add the book to your reminder list.   (Apparently the poster above me and I are one the same wavelengh!  Sorry for the double answer :) )

I wouldn't judge how fast your book will move based on that list though!  Some books move faster than others.

It seems odd that there isn't an easy way to view all the information about a book without having to move it around on your lists.

They are working on a better way to show it.  Not position in line but # posted and rate of request either on bookshelves or the book listings.

That sounds terrific! Right now it feels like I need to do four different things to find out how many copies are listed and if a book is wishlisted or not.  Any idea when the change might happen?

I don't know they've been saying it for a while now just like the New WL-which they were talking about when I joined over 2 yrs ago.

I am hoping for the same feature, but we all have to keep in mind that since membership to PBS is free, the site administrators have limited resources to make upgrades to the website. So in this case - patience is a virtue.
