I am looking on my wishlist, and one of the books I'm wishing for says I am 292 of 291 wishers.  What causes this?

Simply, a glitch in the system. What you desribed does not make sense (in that it is not reasonable). I would let TPTB know about the glitch via the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the page.

Is your wish list book on hold that you are looking at?

It probably means one of those 292 wishers has that book on hold.  So there are 292 people in line but only 291 with the book off hold.

If you had just added the book, I'd give the system time to reset. Hold shouldn't affect one number and not the other so that shouldn't do that. It is either a glitch or just a lag in the system when you added it. If it hasn't cleared up send in Feedback via the Contact Us link in the lower right under Company.

Thanks for the help everyone.  Now it's saying 276 of 278, so I'm thinking it was just a temporary glitch.
