I only read one of her books, but I was surprised to see that she is being buried here in the Twin Cities.

I've only read a couple of her books. Such a shame, just 66 years old - and for me that's looking pretty young!!!

She was a very good friend of SKP's this is on Sharon's blog this morning.  http://sharonkaypenman.com/blog/.  It is a moving tribute.

She was a topic of conversation, during the interview I did with Sharon, when she realized I lived in St. Paul, as Gail lived here and Sharon had come to St. Paul many times to visit and for book signings.  She asked if I had read any of Margaret's aka Gail's work.  I said that I had and wanted to read more before I asked to interview her.  Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to do so.

I don't think I've read her as I'm not big on medieval mysteries, but that's a very nice memorial on Sharon's blog.

@R E K.  Good idea.  I've not read any of her books.

Very sad to hear.  I have a bunch of her Sister Frevisse novels on my shelf that I planned to read for the challenges.
