Ingredients
  • 4 cups - quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup - packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon - salt
  • 1-1/2 cups - chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup - flaked coconut
  • 3/4 cup - butter or margarine, melted
  • 3/4 cup - orange marmalade
Directions

In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar and salt.  Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.  Press into a greased 15 x10 baking pan.  Bake at 425 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.  Cool on a wire rack.  Cut into bars.


Notes

These are soft and chewy, with a hint of orange.  A nice change from granola bars.
