Topic: March 2020 -- What Books Are You Looking For?

This is a new post so add your want lists to let people know the books you are looking for!! Post the books you want here-- remember, no Wish Listed books are allowed. Please note: if someone responds to your requests, send them a pm and let them know if you're interested or not in their offer. It only takes a minute to let them know and to thank them for their time in pm'ing you! Check out all the requests for books people are looking for in the posts below. Maybe you have some you can add to your shelves or even let people know directly. Some suggestions for using this thread. Please, if you have received books you've listed, mark them off so people know. From the number of people who checked these posts, it's apparent your lists are being seen, and hopefully, responded to. Also if you use the edit tab on your post to change your lists, add to, delete, etc. it will cut down on a lot of repetition. Just remember which page you're on and it will be easy to go back to your original post to edit it. Here's my list. Feel free to post your own. I know the list is long and I actually have others to add when some of these are found. There are just too many good authors who write terrific books and I want to read them all!! 2 for 1 or better would be great. PM me with any that you've got, combinations are fine. I prefer paperbacks. I'm always willing to make deals, 3 for 1 or 5 for 2 on paperbacks. I'm a Boxer, too. All my books come from a smoke-free home, but we do have a wood-burning stove that goes full blast in the winter, so if that's a concern pm me before ordering. I've never smelled the smoke on the books, but maybe I'm just used to it!! We also have two cats. Can these be types of books? I don't know what exactly is out there, but I'm looking for two types of books: Flip books that are not kid-focused. I have one that turns the Scream into Starry Night, for example. (And one that claims to be a stripper stripping but nothing interesting comes off, so it's a tease of a tease. Ha!) Small-system RPG books (role playing game, not computer, and not novels). I know there is a Ninja Turtle and a Mouse Guard, for example, but I don't have a complete list of all the one or two book systems out there. (Not particularly interested in the big names--D&D, Mage, Palladium, GURPS, random d20, Whitewolf--but will consider any RPG system books if the deal is good enough.:)) If the books are interesting enough i don't need that great of a deal. |
