I finished The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die by April Henry.  Was actually a pretty intense thriller.  I liked it far more than Girl, Stolen.

I started reading Witches of East End by Melissa de la Cruz before the TV show premieres on Lifetime. I didn't read her Blue Blood series but am really enjoying this book so far :)

Reading The 100. Very good so far. I would recommend it for people who like Across the Universe Slowly.

So I finished Grotesque: The Dispossessed :: Page Morgan. I really liked it. Different twist to YA paranormal. Characters are well written especially the main characters, the setting of 1899 Paris just adds to the book. Highly recommend.

I finished Things I Can't Forget. I always forget how preachy these books are but I enjoyed it.  Starting Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano

read FLAT OUT MATT, the companion to Flat Out Love and enjoyed that too.  Only complaint was that the last chapter (the sex chapter) really didn't flow with the characters.  Other reviews I read said that it was that she threw it in for the audience's request.  IMHO, it would've been better leaving it with them jumping out of the plane and ending it there.  But overall,   I'd recommend Jessica Park!

Andrea I love that you said "I finished Things I Can't Forget. I always forget...." Haha made me chuckle. I finished Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick. Loved the book until the very last line. What a cheesy line to wrap up your series with!

finished up STORMBRINGERS (Order of Darkness book 2) by Philippa Gregory on my way home from work tonight.  (audiobook)...it was OK.  but not nearly as interesting as the 1st one.  This just seemed like a "hold over" until the author decides how she wants the story to progress.

I finally caught up on one of my favorite YA series Midnight Frost (Mythos Academy, Bk 5) :: Jennifer Estep. I liked the new characters and creaturs she added into the story.

I just sent you a PM, Val, before reading this...  I actually ended up loving book three....  Tammara Webber can write one heck of a story, that's for sure!!!  I don't have book four, and if you tell me you don't have it, I'm ordering it immediately!!!

I just finished Just One Year and I loved it!! Oh, but I hated it at the same time. I need so much more. Does anyone know if she plans to continue their story?

I finished Touched (Sense thieves bk 1) by Corrine Jackson last week. I was so excited to get this book! I needed up using swagbucks to order it because I couldn't wait. It was so good...until 50 pages to the end. While reading it I had a nagging feeling I had read this before. But I hadn't. I know a lot of YA follow the same subject and premises, but the characters and events make them slightly different in their own way. This book felt like a copycat to me. It was cookie cutter feeling. I just felt like this was a song I had heard the same version of. It makes me sad because it started so well.

Been busy trying to finish reading challenges.   I've just completed The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants for the YA challenge. It's a great read for the young - like magic.  Read Jamrach's Menagerie by Carol Birch.  Great read!  And, I've started Thirteenth Child by Wrede.
