I have never read a Dean Koontz book that I really liked. I usually find them bland, predictable and boring. Odd Thomas, however, is one of the best stories I have ever read by anyone at anytime. The characters seem real and their actions seem logical. It is a well told story and has so many facets that I could never properly describe it in less than ten pages. I intend to finish the series and then re-read them all. This is not a horror story but it is horrible. I would recommend this book to anyone.

It's an "Odd" series...but you get hooked and just want to know what "odd" thing will happen next, so you keep going with it.
