I have many YA titles on my WL which are meant for my 18 yo daughter who is now away at college. Finally got offered one of them and had it sent to her using the 'alternate address' (and name)..........imagine her surprise when instead of the book "Defiance", she received two hot, steamy romances! ("Night Pleasures" by Sherrilyn Kenyon  has a cover with a half naked man on it!)

So now we are waiting to hear from the sender.......wonder who got my daughter's book?  She will be coming home in a week for spring break so will bring them to me then and hopefully we will have a solution worked out to get those 2 books to their rightful requestor by then.

I had that happen once many years ago - the poor sender ended up with nothing for her swaps as she sent each of us a credit to offset our cost and we remailed the books to each other...   A hard lesson!!

Night Pleasures is great. Sherrilyn Kenyon used to be my favorite author. Her newer books just don't cut it.

And look at this interesting delivery info-- book was delivered to Tallahassee, FL which is way up north, just east of the panhandle near the GA border while Melbourne is on the east coast south of Daytona Beach.  Weird, huh?

It's happened to me.  I've gotten a book I didn't request and my book went somewhere else.  So I contacted the sender and she gave us each other's name/address, and credits to cover the cost of mailing, and we sent each other the correct book.  It happens.

I live in South GA.    Jacksonville is a sorting hub.    All my mail goes through there no matter where it comes from or where it is going.

PBS returned my credit as member failed to respond to PM for a whole week......no book, no resolution as to what I'm to do with these 2 other books that belong to someone else.

If you don't hear from the sender, just post the steamy books to your bookshelf.

Looks like that's what I'm going to do........it's been 12 days and neither PBS nor I have heard from this 'member'. But guess she got her credits since she used tracking thru PBS even though the wrong books 'arrived'.

I don't understand that. Why not answer a PM? Drives me crazy...

I made the mistake of sending wrong books to 3 different members in the same trip to the post office. It was a huge, costly mistake  with everyone else getting what was owed (except me) and I am now very careful that I'm mailing the right book to the right person.
