This is the first book by this author that I have read. I don't quite like his writing style. It is very abrupt and choppy. I would say that this book was proofread by a drunk, because it made sense to him/her at the time. The sentences seemed to be a bunch of run on sentences, no punctuations where they belonged, and some fragmented ones. It was a bit distracting, but I got the gist of his ideas.
The book consists of two novels: Old Flames and Right to Life. Old Flames was very much like a Lifetime movie (which is a guilty pleasure of mine). It was a common plot and very predictable. Right to Life I would have to rate as NC-17. There are some areas that might be a little too provocative for some readers.
good book, but not one of his best. the novella "right to life' reads just like -Perfect Victim : The True Story of "The Girl in the Box" by the D.A. That Prosecuted Her Captor :: Christine Mcguire, Carla Norton. ISBN-13: 9780440204428 - ISBN-10: 0440204429 if you liked the "right to life" story you will probably like the true crime story it seems to be based on.
