At one time I had the club name & PM of a member who knew where I could get old, but useable stamps - never used. For example, 6 cent stamps, just for one. Does anyone know anything about getting these old stamps? I believe they were sold at face value.    Blessings    M'ann

Just about any of the older valued stamps e.g. like in the 30 cent range and there used to be be 41 and 42, 6 cent, 63 cent, 70 cent, and I can't get 64 and 78, though I used to. I mail from home - kind of homebound at times - so I like to have my own postage. Just when I think I have enough, they go and change the rates on me, or discontinue a certain value!. So, I guess you can say, I'm easy to please. Just let me know what you can send and how you want reimbursement. I don't have paypal.     Blessings     M'ann

Currently available at the PO are:

Cents:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 17, 20, 29, Forever (currently 44, 45 after 1-22), 58, 64, 80, 98

Dollars:  1.00, 4.95, 18.30

All SHOULD be available on the website at USPS.com - or you could possibly do a Stamps by Mail and get them thru your regular mail carrier.  Try calling your local delivery office and see what they have available.  Ask them to send you a Stamps by Mail form.  You should be able to put in a request for any stamp denomination currently being sold.

Some time after 1-22 there should become available 65 cent and $1.05 stamps.  Haven't seen them yet, so not sure just when we will get them.

I also have used some of my old stamp collection stamps. Not too long ago I used a 40 cent Olympics stamp from 1980, and the package was delivered without a hitch. Hey, I ran outa stamps and I was *desperate.
