I loved it. I found it better than "Under The Tuscan Sun". This book is sweet, romantic and informative, as well. I would recommend it to anyone. In fact, I'm going to keep the book instead of re-posting it because I want to read it again.

I enjoyed this book, it may not be the best travel memoir I have ever read...BUT Ms. Drinkwater does do a fine job of transporting to you to France and the life she takes on there. It is fascinating to read about the pit falls and large amount of work that goes into restoring a home and how sometimes the bureaucratic red tape can just be ridiculous.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading about starting your life over in a foreign country.

I loved this book! The feelings of frustration, fear, and love come right through in the excellent writing. Maybe a few too many adjectives, but those can be forgiven.
