New to PBS just listed around 60 various Harlequin books. They are mostly Blaze, a few Temptation, Presents, Heat, Silhoutte Desire and Super Romance. If interested I will do 3/1 til 10/16/2009. Just Pm me with your 2 freebies. This is only for the thinner under 250 page books if you want one of the few thicker books I have it will count as 2 books due to the shipping cost.

If you prefer you can also offer me a deal, I'm open to suggestions.

There's a red sticky thread at the top of the page for posting deals.

Hi Misty! Welcome to PBS!

I'll definitely be looking at your shelf...

We do have a sticky topic at the top of the forum for announcing deals and new postings. Ours is the most active genre forum (and rightfully so) so we could really make each other crazy posting new topics with book deals. We would constantly be sending other topics to the page 2.

While you're here, you might want to check out some of our recurring topics:

Is This On Your Bookshelf (new each month) - This thread is for posting books you're hunting for. Just searching and ordering through the PBS system (vs. ordering from a particular user's shelf) will get you the copy of the book that has been in the system the longest (FIFO - First In, First Out). Mentioning books you want to order here first is just a courtesy to allow forum participants a chance to fulfill your request and possibly offer a deal. Check this thread often if you think you might have books other forum participants want.

Is This On Your Wishlist (new each month) - Forum participants use this thread to announce wishlisted books they are about to post to the system (which means it will go to the first person in the queue - and those can get pretty long). It benefits the person with the books because they have a chance to ship 2 or more titles to the same person, saving on postage. And, of course, it benefits the recipient because they can step out of the WL line. Kinda like FastPass at Disneyland.

New Romance Books to Wishlist (long-running, ongoing topic) - I don't know how they do it, but some of the participants here find out about upcoming releases before they are announced anywhere else! Checking this thread allows you to get in the WL queue before it hits triple digits.

I suggest setting a "watch topic" on these threads so you'll get e-mail notifications when there are WL books available and when new books are announced.

And please! Join our discussions about books. We sometimes wander off topic (I'm the worst) but we always get back to our shared love of reading 'trashy novels.'

Hey, Debbie! Girl, if you're gonna be a boxer, you've gotta post more books so I can snag 'em. (Hey y'all... Debbie does have a copy of Pale Moon Rider by Marsha Canham).

Mitz - I did snag 3 Blaze titles off your shelf. TY TY TY TY TY!

there's all kinds of discussions going on...there's a 'what are we reading this week' and the current one is somewhere in the top 10 threads usually..there are some about different types of romances..or  you can start one on something romance related like 'what are you favorite Blaze titles' or something along those lines. we've even had talks about sex toys on airplanes(not kidding LOL!) very good discussion that one was! :)

recently we' ve had not typical alpha heroes, blind heroes..and the ever-popular 'is this book on your wishlist' where we  have wishlisted books we offer to our friends here before posting in the system.

the red sticky just keeps all the deals in one place instead of spread all over the forum and when we're looking for a deal we know where to go.

have fun and as the others have said 'welcome' !

Mitz, to "join" a discussion group, start talking! There is no formal enrollment and no one takes roll call to see how often you're here.

Just open a topic that sounds interesting, read what others are saying, and add your own comments. As you can see from the "Views" count compared to the "Replies" count, a lot more view a topic than those who comment. That's okay, too. But as you can see when you first open the Discussion Forums screen, the L&R Forum is the most active genre forum... because we all love to put in our two cents worth. '-D

The only thing I suggest - and this applies to everyone, not just you - if someone says something that upsets you, go ahead and vent by typing out a scathing reply. Then wait 5 minutes, read what you've written, and delete without sending it. If you really feel you must say something critical to another user, send them a PM. There's never a good reason for publicly scolding another adult.
