  I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!

She never knew the meaning
Of anything at all
Facing herself in the mirror
As she watches herself fall

No one else can see
For pain is her best keep
No one knows her secret
No one sees her weep

Her teardrops are covered
Not open for you to see
As she watches herself drown
You just let her be

No one can save her
For this is her own life
No one is prepared
For this type of fight

As her suffering grows
So does the pain
Her mind shuts down
She’s no longer sane

She’s walking through her life
Like a picture colored black
Retracing her footsteps
Trying to get back

Back from where she came from
When the hurt wasn’t so deep
Back when she was happy
Back when she could sleep

Back when her laughs
And smiles were for real
Back when she could eat
Back when she could heal

But she is just a verification
For how our love has died
Because we didn’t listen
Because we never tried

One person makes a difference
One smile can make her day
One hug from just one person
Can help it go away

So open up your ears,
Your eyes, and hearts you see
For we can’t let life pass us by
We can’t just let this be

That is so true about a smile, a hug, making the difference. And you never know how something you do might touch somebody's life, even a total stranger!
