Adriana Trigiani books such as Queen of the big time, Lucia Lucia,  Milk Glass Moon and others? I have just started reading the Queen of the big time and I am totally hooked! In this one I was pleasantly surprised to find the recipes to some of the characters dishes in the book. Is this something that she does in her other books?

I've read a couple by her -  Big Stone Gap and Big Cherry Holler.  Enjoyed them - but she's not my fave.  I'd rate them a 7 on a  1-10 scale.

I read Lucia, Lucia and really enjoyed it, I don't remember any recipes being in it though. The Big Stone  Gap series is on my TBR waiting to be read, i've heard it's pretty good!

I love Adriana's books and she grew up just a stone's throw from me.  I love her Big Stone Gap series because it takes me back "home".  Last I heard they were still trying to get everything together to start the Big Stone Gap movie.

Amy,

I picked up Queen of the Big Time up at a discount outlet for $1. Didn't really look like my thing, but I thought I would check it out. It was one of the better books I have read in a long time! I am thinking about trying one of her others now!
