I had these books on my shelf for a few years before I could bring myself to read about 9/11 - When I finally did; I received great comfort from the words of Karen Kingsbury in her novels dealing with love lost and heroism and the Peace that The Lord can give. I bought this book today just to share with you! Enjoy and be blessed!
these 2 novels in one by karen kingsbury were absolutely amazing! really made sept 11th become more real. definitely a 5 star book!! don't miss this one! you won't be able to put it down! I read it in less than a week.
Another pageturner and tearjerker from Karen Kingsbury. A reminder of our terrible losses of that day, and how God never leaves us. He is always there and ready to meet us where ever we are. Her books always encourage me and leave me feeling closer to God, but not preached to.
I loved this book. It was an easy read even though the subject matter was serious and somber. The story Karen weaves while also sharing what faith in God and His divine ways can do to change lives is amazing. One Tuesday Morning was the book club pick this month. I'm so glad I ordered the one that also had Beyond Tuesday Morning. When you see the whole story come full circle, your faith will be bolstered and you will be reminded of just how much God works in our lives for our good.
In the process of reading One Tuesday Morning at present. I find it informative and the author takes you to the days preceeding 09/11 up to the very day. One feels as though they are there. This is a well written, informative, sensitive, compelling read. I highly recommend it.
working for one of the airline's that crashed into the WTC, this story was extremely well written, and oh so tragic. I didn't care for the ending of One Tuesday Morning, however, Beyond Tuesday Morning was much better written and continued the saga of the first story. This could have absolutely happened and I loved the part where she finds love again, not only for herself but her daughter. I'd definitely recommend these 2 books to read.
I couldn't put this book down! I read it in less than a week. The subject matter is very serious due to the events of September 11, but the book left a bittersweet feeling with me. I will definitely be reading the third book in the series as soon as I get the chance.
