Somehow I missed this thread when you started it. I know there must be more of us, since I've seen PBS mentioned by several people on EA.
We had connected last year in the Caregiver's forum.
Hopefully we can find a few more here!
I though you "sounded" familiar when I read your post, then realized you are on my Buddy List:) It's good to hear from you again. Approximately how many books do you have in your home library? We've built a new house and the library is "MY ROOM". It's very small, but I can hardly wait to get my desk and bookshelves in. Right now I have boxes of books sitting everywhere. You'll have to give me some tips on organizing it.
Way TOO many books!! All 5 of my children are also readers, and we are homeschooling the youngest two, who are now teens. I hope to sell a LOT at our homeschool used book sale next week.
I've estimated we have over 1000 books on the shelves in our living room alone. There are at least another 800 on our bedroom bookshelves. Then we have about 20 boxes of books that are either PBS, for sale, or for use in a different school year.
We do have set places for non-fiction, and since we like to collect books in series, we tend to sort fiction by authors. All my Amish authors, and Eugenia Price are in my room. Most of the Classics and biography are in my son's room, along with most of the science and technology books.
I'm not a good person to ask about organizing anything though because I am a random/spontaneous person by nature. No one that truly knows me has ever accused me of being organized...
It sounds like you will have a lovely room when it is finished!!
