I read them when they came out and liked them. If you like David Eddings or Robert Jordan you'll probably like them.

I've never read either, but it sounds good, fresh new fantasy is always worth a shot. :)

Have you read Robin Hobbs, George R.R. Martin, Naomi Novik, all the good contemporary high fantasy? Feist's a lot closer to the bottom of the barrel.

I read a lot of R.A. Salvatore, Richard Lee Byers, and Margaret Weis. Raymond Feist is very much something new to me...

I wouldn't consider Feist to be at the bottom of the barrel. Just different than the rest of the barrel. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I've read by him.

I thorougly enjoyed all of Feist's books and the books he wrote with Janny Wurts. I think he's similar to Katherine Kurtz, Robert Jordan, ect.
