Thinking about reading some of his stuff and wonder what others have thought about his work. I'd be grateful for any opinions, as I'm looking to find some new authors. Cheers, Margaret |

Really loved the Age of Unreason Series. Nice mix of Fantasy and Alt-History. -RD Last Edited on: 4/5/12 1:34 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Meh. His Kingdom of Thorn and Bone series (4 books) was alright. The 1st book's fantastic, the 2nd book less do, the 3rd book blech, the 4th book forgettable. I'll try other books by him, though, I do enjoy his writing style. |

Thanks for your input - think I'll give him a try. I can get most from the library so there's no big investment :) Cheers, Margaret |

This may be a bit late but I did read his Babylon 5 stories. He did a trilogy on the history of Bester and PsiCorps. I thought it was really good. |

I'm kinda with Bethany on the Thorn and Bone series. It started out like it would be really good, but went downhill fast. Not bad, but....meh. OTOH, it might be OK from the lilbrary, depending on how many other books you have on hand. |
