Hello everyone!

I have several credits saved up for a rainy day.  Since Hurricane PBS seems to be four feet high and rising (to quote Johnny Cash),  I'd like to use them up here in the next few days.  So I'm looking for suggestions.  :-)

I like thrillers - Lee Child, John Sandford, Daniel Silva are my absolute favorites.  Also Alex Berensen, Barry Eisler, Vince Flynn and Brad Thor.

I also like Lawrence Block and Thomas Perry - don't know what to call that - quirky, old-fashioned mysteries perhaps?

And I love slapstick type stuff - Carl Hiaasen, Tim Dorsey.

Suggestions?  Help me spend some credits!!  Ready-set-go!

James Rollins, Brad Taylor, Steve Berry, Randy Wayne White for action type thrillers

Quirky mystery - Laurence Shames, Donald E Westlake (he does hard boiled too)

I will second Brian Haig's Sean Drummond series and suggest the Mark Beamon books by Kyle Mills

If you like Tim Dorsey, consider Ben Aaronovitch and his Rivers of London series of paranormal cheeky mysteries.
