This has to be the best book I've ever read about rescuing. This woman shares her story of the many different disaster situations she'd gone into as a volunteer working to save the animals. Very touching.

Well written...a true animal hero, not a wannabe. This gal realizes that QUALITY of life is important, not just life for the sake of life. Sometimes, that does mean euthanasia is the only humane way to go. I hope this gal continues a long life helping critters in need.
