From the back cover:

Olivia Baron scandalized the prissy matrons and the knockabout cowboys of rugged Elkhorn, Montana, by practicing medicine. She knew how to be a good doctor. But she didn't know how to be a woman until she met Gabe Danaher. A tough, handsome miner, Gabe had witnessed his Indian wife's murder by white men. Now, whenever he rode into town, he was like a stick of dynamite waiting to go off. Olivia Baron would light a fuse.

When she refused to go with him to treat his sick daughters, he took her by force into the wild hills. When he kissed he, he began a war between her heart and her will. Even as she longed for his touch, she knew she must leave him unless he could learn that the only way to keep love was to set it free.

Its not the kind of book I read, someone gave it to me, so I posted it. The book might as well go to someone who will read it.
